The largest solar power plant in the western region of the country, including the provinces of Kurdistan, Kermanshah and Ilam, with a capacity of 13 megawatts, has been put into operation in Qorveh County.
A major part of the main equipment of this power plant has been supplied by Tehran International Engineering Company (FITCO). After completing the implementation stages and connecting to the national electricity grid, this project officially entered production on January 1, 1403.
This power plant is considered one of the important steps towards the development of renewable energies in the western regions of the country and will play an effective role in providing clean electricity to local industries and consumers.
